Die zweite Auflage des DMPD am 17. August in Ede (NL) war gleichzeitig meine erste. Nach dem appetitanregenden Bericht von Stefan über das erste DMPD 2012 stand für mich schon früh fest, dass ich dieses Jahr unbedingt auch vor Ort sein werde. Als dann im Frühjahr der Aufruf der Organisatoren kam, sich mit dem eigenen Auto für die Outoor- oder sogar Indoor-Selection zu bewerben, war mein Ehrgeiz geweckt. Denn erst im Winter 12/13 war mein 200 SX S13 in einem satten Rot neu lackiert worden, so dass ich mir wenigstens eine kleine Chance ausrechnete, mit dem Wagen aufs Gelände zu dürfen. Also Location gesucht, Kamera ausgepackt und … am Ende hat dann meine Freundin alle Bilder gemacht. Denn nichts ist schwieriger, als das eigene Auto zu fotografieren. Glaubt ihr nicht? Ist aber so. Just last winter I have repainted my 200sx S13 in a rich red, so I expected at least a small chance to be allowed into the selection with my car. So I went off and looked for a location, unpacked my camera and… at the end my girlfriend shot all the pictures. Because there is nothing more difficult than taking pictures of your own car.
